Selling Cycling Inks Retailer Partnerships

Published October 16, 2007

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN)—Selling Cycling recently announced partnerships with three retailer groups: the National Bicycle Dealers Association, The Biking Solution and Mobeus.

The partnership between the NBDA and Growth Cycle will create content for the NBDA’s The Bike Shop Advantage program while making Selling Cycling a sponsor of the NBDA’s Regional Seminar series.

Selling Cycling will contain two training modules detailing how shop staff can effectively present and reinforce the benefits of buying bikes and related gear from independent bicycle retailers.

Selling Cycling has been an integral part of The Biking Solution’s product-specific training program for the past four years.

For 2008, Selling Cycling will integrate a shortened online version of GEAR sales training in conjunction with Dan Mann, primary architect of GEAR. All other Selling Cycling retailers will receive the new HAND sales process.

GEAR is The Biking Solution’s proprietary two-day Sales Training process and is taught in-person as part of The Biking Solution’s regional seminars. As TBS broadens its reach to more than 350 retailers, Selling Cycling will be included as part of the TBS package at no extra cost to retailers.

The Mobeus retailer co-op (formerly YaYa Bike!) will also continue its long-term partnership with Selling Cycling. Top-level Mobeus retailers receive Selling Cycling as a membership benefit, while other members get a free Bike Assembly module when they buy Selling Cycling at the regular price ($200 per store).

Other exciting partnerships are in the works as Selling Cycling 2008 continues its development. E-mail Ray Keener, ray@growthcycle.net, to receive regular updates. Or call toll-free, (866) 442-2466.
