BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — QBP is now distributing the Lauf Fork, lightweight carbon mountain bike fork from an Iceland-based company.
The leaf spring suspension fork weighs just 990 grams and is maintenance free. It is aimed primarily at cross-country racers building super-light hardtail bikes for endurance events. The fork was introduced at the 2013 Eurobike show.
QBP will carry 29-inch and 27.5-inch sizes. They will stock matte carbon, gloss carbon with aqua blue, gloss carbon with red, and gloss carbon with white.
Lauf forks will retail for $990. QBP said the retail price allows for "strong dealer margins."
