MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Challenge is offering a new road tire, the Gravel Grinder, that will be available in clincher, tubular and open tubular (handmade clincher) options.
The tubular (410 grams) and open tubular (355 grams) versions are available in a 36mm width with Challenge's 300TPI SuperPoly casing.
The vulcanized clincher, which the company said is intended for racers taking on more aggressive conditions, is available in a 38mm width in both 120TPI (408 grams) and 60TPI (425 grams) nylon casings.
The vulcanized clinchers will be available in June and the tubulars and open tubulars will be available in July.
