Shimano announces pricing on new road parts

IRVINE, CA (BRAIN) — Shimano American has released MSRPs on its new 11-speed Ultegra Di2 group and its hydraulic road disc brakes.

The new R785 model hydraulic brakes will be available in a kit including levers, calipers and hoses for $699.99 MSRP. The calipers will be available separately for $74.99 each, and the hydraulic shift/brake levers with hoses will be available for $549.99 a set. Rotors will sell for $69.99 for 140 mm or $74.99 for 160 mm. 

The R875 brakes and levers are not part of any existing road group, but are compatible with Ultegra 6870 Di2 or Dura-Ace 9070 Di2 components, including remote shifters.

The new Ultegra Di2 11-speed levers will retail for $379.99 for a road version or $349.99 for triathlon/aero bike version. 

The matching rear derailleur (RD-6870) will retail for $269.99 for the short cage or $279.99 for medium cage. Finally, the matching front derailleur (FD-6870) will sell for $269.99.
