Primal Wear Goes Dealer Direct

Published October 16, 2007

DENVER, CO (BRAIN)—Starting with the 2008 season, Primal Wear’s line of jerseys, shorts, arm warmers, socks and other high performance garments will be available to dealers through direct orders via the company’s corporate headquarters in Denver.

The company is ending its longtime U.S. distribution agreements with Quality Bicycle Products and Bicycle Technologies Inc.

“Primal Wear’s working relationship with Quality Bicycle Products and Bicycle Technologies Inc. has been very positive and extremely beneficial, but the need to better serve the independent bicycle retailer was the focal point for this decision,” said Sean Bresloff, the company’s national sales manager.

As part of the distribution change, which goes into effect Oct. 1, dealers will have no minimum orders. Dealers also will have direct access to the company’s new dealer-exclusive Web site to place orders and check inventory. The site, www.primaldealer.com, is expected to go live Aug. 1.

“This Web site will allow access to Primal Wear’s entire clothing catalog featuring men’s and women’s jerseys and shorts as well as socks, arm warmers and many other garments,” Bresloff said. “It will feature state-of-the-art software to allow for the most enjoyable ordering experience.” —Lynette Carpiet
