BicycleBlueBook.com hires Steve Parke

Published August 30, 2016

SAN JOSE, Calif. (BRAIN) — BicycleBlueBook.com has hired industry veteran Steve Parke, who will help the company expand and deepen its partnerships with independent bike dealers participating in its trade-in program.

Parke most recently served as global sales director at Advanced Sports International. Prior to Advanced Sports, he was general manager at Ritchey Design, Inc. USA.

"I am delighted to join the BicycleBlueBook.com team at this important time for the industry as a whole," said Parke. "I was attracted to the company because of the strong role it plays helping consumers benefit from unlocking value from their old bike towards the purchase of a new one. I started my career working in bike shops and know first hand how powerful the concept of trading in a used bike can potentially play in driving new bike sales. I am excited to help dealers offer a valuable customer service option to their business and help drive new bike sales, increase transaction size and improve their customer retention."

BicycleBlueBook has signed up about 500 U.S. retailers to participate in the program. Dealers interested in learning more about it can contact Parke at sparke@bicyclebluebook.com.
