Published February 18, 2015

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (BRAIN) — Kent International has received one of Walmart's 2014 Supplier of Excellence in U.S. Manufacturing awards. According to the retailer, the award recognizes individual vendors' superiority in merchandise quality, fulfillment execution, and understanding of the market and puts a spotlight on suppliers who have most helped Walmart meet the needs of its consumers.

"Striving for excellence is a big part of the culture throughout our company. This recognition is a testament to all of our employees and I thank them for their contributions and the part they played in winning this recognition," said Scott Kamler, Kent International's president.

This award follows Kent International's collaboration with Walmart in driving the retailer's Made in America initiative by creating a new bike factory in South Carolina. Kent International has been a recipient of Walmart's Supplier of the Quarter award for outstanding performance four times within the last eight years.
