WATERTOWN, Mass. (BRAIN) — Industry veteran and Independent Fabrication co-founder Mike Flanigan — who spent the past 12 years running his own fabrication shop, Alternative Needs Transportation — has joined custom bike maker Seven Cycles as a welder and bike builder.

"After working in the bicycle industry for the last 32 years, Seven is, by far, the best bicycle manufacturer I have ever worked for," Flanigan said. "Seven has a very organized, clean and friendly work atmosphere that only helps maintain the high level of quality that I have always desired. I am more than happy to be a part of Seven and contribute to the next chapter in Seven history."

Seven Cycles CEO Rob Vandermark said: "I was honored when I learned that Mike was interested in working with Seven. I've known Mike for years, and it's exciting to finally be working side by side."
