Tri trade organization announces new industry blog

Published August 14, 2014

ORANGE, Calif. (BRAIN) — Triathlon industry organization Triathlon Business International has launched a blog called TBIntelligencer that will explore current topics and raise discussion points within the multisport industry. The organization said the goal of the blog is to "open a dialogue and clarify issues and challenges" for tri-related retailers, manufacturers, race directors, governing bodies, athletes and others.

The blog's first post is from Pacific Sports' CEO and president and TBI president Jack Caress. Its topic will be race entry fees, which he argues are almost always too low. The blog is on TBI's website

TBI also announced that it has increased the size of its Interbike Triathlon Pavilion this year to 25,000 square feet and it is close to sold out. Questions about Interbike booth space or sponsorships cane be directed to Christine@triathlonbusinessintl.com.
