SANTA FE, N.M. (BRAIN) — A lucky bike shop employee and friend will win entries into California's sold-out Downieville Classic All-Mountain race, thanks to a contest being run by BTI and VP Components.
The contest began Wednesday and runs through July 14. To enter, bike shop employees must post a photo of themselves on Facebook, with a new in-box VP-VX Series pedal, VP-Harrier pedal or VP-VEX pedal. The photos must be hashtagged #vpallmountain. The photo that gets the most Facebook shares wins the prize.
The winner is responsible for travel, lodging and other expenses for the race, which is July 31-Aug. 3.
Besides the grand prize, anyone that shares a photo will be entered to win swag from VP and BTI. This includes pedals, t-shirts and socks. This part of the contest is open to everyone, not just bike shop employees.
