Michelin Man and Hincapie racers to air up tires at bike path

Published June 5, 2014

GREENVILLE, S.C.  (BRAIN) — This Saturday, Michelin North America will set up a bike tire pressure check station along a popular bike path near its headquarters here.

The station will be manned by Michelin representatives, including the trademark Michelin Man, and members of the Hincapie Sportswear Development Team. The event recognizes National Tire Safety Week.

"We know that Greenville is a major biking community and with Michelin's North American headquarters right here in town, it made perfect sense to get out and share an experience with local riders," said Yohann Leblanc, Michelin North America' marketing and sales manager for bike tires.

The station will be on Greenville's Swamp Rabbit Trail at mile marker 32.5, at the intersection with Willard Road, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
