Easton Cycling raffles raise $45,000 for charity

Published March 20, 2014

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Easton Cycling raised $45,000 for charity with the raffle of five handmade road bikes equipped with Easton components and wheels.

The bikes were built by custom builders Calfee Design, Rock Lobster Cycles, Black Cat, Caletti Cycles and Hunter. The builders chose the charity that benefited from each raffle.

“This sweepstakes was a chance for riders to win one-of-a-kind bikes from legendary framebuilders practicing their craft in Easton’s corner of the world while at the same time raising a significant amount of money for charity,” said Easton brand manager Dain Zaffke. “We saw a great opportunity to give the best in the business and their artisan work a wider exposure while benefiting charities of their choice.

This Rock Lobster was raffled to benefit Project Bike Trip.
