Newlands to distribute Reynolds' stainless frame tubes

Published December 10, 2013

PORTLAND, OR (BRAIN) — British frame tubing maker Reynolds Technology Ltd has added a new U.S. distributor, Torch and File.

Torch and File, owned by long-time framebuilder Andy Newlands, will stock Reynolds' widening range of stainless steel frame tubes, as well as its steel tubes. The company will begin stocking the Reynolds products in January.

Reynolds Technology now has three lines of stainless tubesets.

“It is a real privilege to have fabricated bike frames from Reynolds cycle tubing since 1971, and now to be distributing their entire range of tubing including the new stainless steel tube set 921," Newlands said. Newlands makes custom steel frames under the Strawberry brand.

Fairing Industrial Inc., based in Chino, California, also will continue to distribute Reynolds steel tubing in the U.S.

Torch and File can be contacted at torchandfile@rtl.cc for more details.
