LeMond to speak at Massachusetts conference

Published September 26, 2013

NANTUCKET, MA (BRAIN) — Greg LeMond will be among 58 presenters at The Nantucket Project this weekend. Other speakers will  include former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev, Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt, AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters CEO Brian Kelley, and former Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers.

The conference's theme is "Seek the truth. Endure the consequences."

“This has been a watershed year for me,” LeMond said. “The sport that I love is strong, the Tour de France celebrated its 100th year, Italian component maker Campagnolo celebrated its 80th year, and I’m relaunching my bicycle brand after years of suffering at the hands of my detractors. I’ve always said the truth matters, and my family and I have hung tight through the last 12 years of challenges. I’m excited to show the world that I’m back, and better than ever.”

The conference, held on the island off Cape Cod, is in its third year.  For more information, visit www.nantucketproject.com.
