Easton-Bell Sports hires two in sales for North America

Published July 30, 2013

VAN NUYS, CA (BRAIN) — Easton-Bell Sports has hired two regional sales managers. Dan Knisely will handle the Eastern region and Canada and Chris Bogue will handle the West. They will lead teams of independent sales reps in the IBD channel across all four of Easton-Bell Sports’ cycling brands: Bell, Blackburn, Easton Cycling and Giro.

The company said the hires are part of efforts to strengthen relationships with IBDs. In addition to Knisely and Bogue, Denae Miller has joined the company as sales analyst for North America.

“By splitting the market into two regions and staffing with seasoned, experienced professionals, we are able to spend more time in the field with our key dealers and reps,” said Bernie Doering, senior vice president of global sales. “With these hires, we will be more effective in achieving the goals stated in our Freedom To Choose letter sent to retailers in April.”

Knisely previously held sales positions at 180s, Penguin Brands and Nike. Bogue held stints at K2/Zoot, Pearl Izumi/Shimano and Veltec Sports.

Miller comes to Easton-Bell Sports from American Recreational Products.
