Serfas to air TV ads during Tour

Published June 26, 2013

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA (BRAIN) — For the first time in Serfas’ 20-year history the company is running a television commercial. The brand will run two 30-second ads during the Tour de France, which starts Saturday.

The spots will be airing on NBC Sports Network on cable in the U.S. and online at NBCSports.com. One spot will focus on shoes, tires and pumps and feature Team CashCall, a Serfas-sponsored road team based in Southern California. The other spot will focus on lights and eyewear and feature mountain biking footage.

“I think I can pretty much speak for everyone here in that every time I see both commercials I get goosebumps,” said Jason Norman, director of marketing for Serfas. “I can only imagine what it feels like for the people who have been here for more than decade who have helped build this company’s framework.

“I think these commercials speak volumes to not only where our product is now, but the brand and its image as well,” he said.

The commercials were produced by Stu Haight, who has done a handful videos for the company in recent months.
