DENVER, CO (BRAIN) — Primal Cycling Apparel will be the official apparel provider to Bike MS, its 50 state chapters and its more than 100 annual charity rides.

In addition to the financial sponsorship of Bike MS, Primal has developed a charitable program to donate an additional 15 percent of all qualified custom Bike MS team orders back to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

"Our mission at Primal is to grow the cycling industry by supporting events like Bike MS, with their ability to bring new riders to cycling and increase awareness of multiple sclerosis, a disease that affects 2.1 million people worldwide," said Dave Edwards, Primal's founder and CEO.

Last year Bike MS raised over $80 million to help further research, promote awareness and provide support for those affected by multiple sclerosis.

Graham McReynolds, chief marketing and development officer for the National MS Society said Primal has a long history of supporting Bike MS rides and teams.

"It's great to see them broaden their support in the MS movement in such a significant way," McReynolds said.

Primal joins Bicycling Magazine and Raleigh Bicycles as national Bike MS sponsors.
