Philly Bike Expo returns

PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN)—
The Philly Bike Expo is back for its third edition October 27-28 at the historic 23rd Street Armory.



“This year, we're pleased to announce a slew of new exhibitors to our roster,” said Bina Bilenky Trahan, coordinator of the show. "Many of them are up-and-comers who will be showing off their wares for the first time anywhere.”



Students and faculty of Philadelphia University’s Fashion Merchandising Department will produce the 2012 Bicycle Fashion Showcase.

Some of the seminar and workshop topics are “Tandem 101” by Mel Kornbluh of Tandems East, “Tubing Selection and Frame Design" by Wade Barcosi, "Selecting the Right Gear for Bicycle Touring," by Michael Allen of EMS; "The Ideal Fit," Steven LeBoyer, Serotta Fit Lab Director. 



A panel discussion on internal gear hubs will include representives from NuVinci, Bilenky Cycle Works and Shimano.
