Nukeproof to launch slopestyle frame

Published April 18, 2012

MONTEREY, CA (BRAIN) Wednesday April 18 2012 10:49 AM MT—Nukeproof is launching a new slopestyle frame that has a hydraulic gyro integrated with the headtube. The integration reduces stack height above the head tube to just 10mm, allowing a lower stem.

Nukeproof will be showing the prototype Rook frame Thursday at the Sea Otter Festival.

The company said the Rook has a low, mildly progressive leverage rate designed to give a stiff platform for dirt jumping or slopestyle. The feel of the ride is highly tunable by altering the compression damping of the shock.

The geometry is optimized for a 110mm-travel fork, giving a 13-inch bottom bracket height and a 69 degree head angle.
