Published October 4, 2011

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Rocky Mountain Bicycles has hired David Haberkam and Shawn Barry as sales representatives for the Idaho, Montana and Wyoming territories.

The two Montana based reps are partners in the Top Gear agency, which also represents Easton Bell Sports, Hammer Nutrition, Softride Racks and Optic Nerve/Mountain Shades eyewear.

Haberkam and Barry, with 25 and 17 years of experience in the industry respectively, are looking forward to growing the Rocky Mountain brand in the territory. Haberkam said, “I’ve known Rocky Mountain’s director of sales and marketing Charles Russell for a long time and when this opportunity came up, Shawn and I were immediately interested. Not only are the bikes ideal for our territory, but Rocky’s new distribution center in Salt Lake City is a huge bonus for servicing our dealers.”

Russell was likewise enthusiastic about the new partnership. “Rocky Mountain has historically been well received in the U.S. mountain states and partnering with such strong sales reps like David and Shawn will only further solidify our foothold in their territory," he said.
