GOLDEN, CO (BRAIN)—Yeti Cycles has signed Silverfish as its new UK distributor.
Yeti was previously distributed by Evolution Imports.
“We had a long and successful partnership with our previous distributor, but feel that Silverfish will provide us with the scale and expertise to grow our brand to the next level,” said Yeti president Chris Conroy. “Silverfish shares common values; they run a great business and they are stoked on riding mountain bikes.”
Added Silverfish’s sales manager Richie Rowland: “Yeti Cycles is a truly legendary brand and one that all mountain bikers know and love. I’m looking forward to working with a brand with such a long tradition of racing and performance, as are all of the Silverfish team.”
The news comes less than two week after Rocky Mountain Bicycles and Silverfish announced they had parted ways. Rocky Mountain hasn’t announced new distribution, and a company representative said at the time the brand was considering going the consumer direct route in the UK.
Silverfish represents 18 mountain bike brands out of its 20,000 square foot warehouse and offices in Cornwall, England.
