SOUTH PASEDENA, CA (BRAIN)—Move Press has retained world-renowned photographer John Segesta as director of photography. Segesta will now provide exclusive editorial photography for current Move Press titles peloton and 3/GO as well as future projects.

“Bringing an artist of John’s caliber on board builds upon the reputation for visual excellence we are developing with peloton and 3/GO,” said Move Press founder Brad Roe. “His work is immediately recognizable and we eagerly anticipate developing unique photographic signatures for current and future titles.”

Segesta is a commercial and editorial photographer with over 200 magazine covers to his credit. In addition to numerous bicycle manufacturers, his clients have included Powerbar, Pepsi Beverages, Quaker Foods and Snacks, Gu Energy, Shimano, SRAM, and Fizik, as well as various apparel labels and shoe makers. His advertising and editorial work has appeared in myriad newsstand titles and Segesta was recently selected by jurors to appear in the forthcoming 2011 Communication Arts Photography Annual 52.

“I was immediately impressed by the distinct quality of the Move Press titles upon their launch,” said Segesta. “I have had a long, gratifying history of working with creative director Tim Schamber and consider him a top talent in the industry. I’m truly looking forward to working with him and the other members of the Move Press team.”
