Retailers to Earn Perk at DealerCamp

Published March 1, 2011

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (BRAIN)—This July, when the largest body of travel subsidized retailers ever to attend a trade event gathers at Deer Valley Resort for DealerCamp, their top retail customers may be close behind. This year at DealerCamp all subsidized retailers can select up to six lucky customers to sample what the top brands will have on offer for 2012. These top consumers can partake in celebrity rides, special swag, and demo rides held throughout the July 28 consumer day with their DealerCamp All DC Access credential.

“Getting VIP consumers to DealerCamp will help shape the trends in the industry, after all the bike industry ultimately relies on consumers to buy bikes through the retail channel, so having representatives from each type of user is very important,” said David Zimberoff, SRAM global marketing director.

All subsidized retail businesses, including the hundreds incentivized by DealerCamp exhibitor partners, can nominate 6 VIPs to be invited to attend from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on July 28. Several suppliers will prepare consumer specific promotional items and information on their coming ranges. All VIP consumers will need to provide for their own travel and lodging.

“We’ve heard from the constituents, and these days retailers rely on input from their top customers for what they want to see in the shop. The exhibitors understand that they need to be aware to safeguard their dealer specific info, but on the whole they overwhelmingly supported the idea in our Advisory Board," said Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events.

DealerCamp 2011 will commence on July 26 in Park City, Utah at the Deer Valley Resort.
