Zigmont Going Full Time for Lifeboat

Published January 3, 2011

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA (BRAIN)—Lifeboat Events, producers of the PressCamp and DealerCamp events for the cycling industry, has brought Christopher Zigmont on in a full time capacity.

Zigmont, a partner in the business since its inception, had been working with Lifeboat Events only part-time as an advisor for branding and marketing while maintaining a compliment of private consulting clients, according to a press release.

“Business has grown to the point where we frankly needed more hands on deck. Zig has been part of this concept since the beginning, so it just made sense bringing Zig’s skill-set into the boat full time,” said Lance Camisasca, president of Lifeboat Events.

Zigmont now will handle event-marketing direction, company sustainability leadership and participate with the team in client relations.

“I am thrilled. Lance and I have been eager to work together again since our time together at Mavic in the mid-nineties. If I could borrow a phrase from Lance, we’ve always had a ‘Lennon and McCartney’ collaborative spirit that has typically produced great results. So for me, this is picking up where we left off, sometime around Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band I suppose," Zigmont said.
