SAN FRANCISCO, CA (BRAIN)—Timbuk2 has hired Doug Hall as its new national sales manager.

In his new role, Hall is responsible for expanding Timbuk2’s domestic wholesale base, and strengthening the company’s sales force, according to a press release.

“We are extremely excited to have Doug join our growing team at Timbuk2,” said Mike Wallenfels, CEO of Timbuk2. “His impressive sales experience, coupled with his passion and extensive knowledge of the bike industry, will be an asset as we continue to build our brand through wholesale channels.”

With more than 20 years of experience in bicycle and outdoor sales, management, marketing, and business development, Hall brings an extensive and valuable skill set to Timbuk2. He joins the brand from Fox Head, where he served as national sales manager and was responsible for all sales initiatives for the company’s bike channel.

Prior to Fox Head, Hall spent 10 years working for Giant Bicycle, first as a sales representative, then as development manager for the Western U.S. market. He also held positions at Cascade Associates, where he represented multiple bicycle and outdoor product lines, and North Division Bicycle, where he managed independent bicycle retail operations and sales initiatives.

“As someone who has spent their entire career in the bike industry and who is truly passionate about cycling, I am really looking forward to my new role at Timbuk2,” said Hall. “Timbuk2 is a genuine brand with deep roots in the bike culture and I am excited to contribute to the company’s continued innovation and growth.”
