ST. PAUL, MN (BRAIN)—Park Tool has hired Jon Rosemeier for its design and engineering team.

He comes to Park Tool from Scott Equipment, an industrial machinery company. Rosemeier earned his mechanical engineering degree from North Dakota State University where he raced for the NDSU Cycling Club.

“Jon is a gifted designer and has a great knack for the hands-on aspect of product development. It’s a real advantage when you can find someone who can combine those skills,” said Eric Hawkins, Park Tool’s president.

“I am excited to join Park Tool," Rosemeier said. “I have been a fan for many years and I’m looking forward to contributing to cycling’s No. 1 brand of tools in the world.” In addition to new design ideas, Rosemeier will also focus on enhancing our prototyping capabilities and improving the manufacturing process.

In addition to cycling, Rosemeier enjoys motocross and numerous outdoor sports. He is married with three children.
