SockGuy Supporting Haitian Relief Effort

Published April 22, 2010

CARLSBAD, CA (BRAIN)— SockGuy has joined outdoor manufacturers and retailers in a Haitian relief effort spearheaded at January's Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City.

With logistical and shipping assistance provided by Sierra Trading Post, SockGuy's donation of 21,600 pairs of socks was consolidated with contributions of undergarments and clothing from Terramar, Lupine, Wigwam Mills, and Kahala, at Sierra Trading Post's Cheyenne, WY warehouse. From there, the relief collection valued at $196,888.85 will be distributed by Clothes4Souls, a charitable division of Nashville based Soles4Souls, to victims of the devastating January 12th earthquake.
