'Sales for Trails' Program a Success

Published December 13, 2009

MILL VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—Wilderness Trail Bikes (WTB) has said its collaboration with IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association) was an overwhelming success.

Through this special program, called Sales for Trails, WTB agreed to donate 10 percent of the value of all preseason orders to support trail crews, bike shops and local advocacy groups working to preserve and expand trail systems. The sales program began at the Interbike tradeshow (September 21) and ran through the end of October.

“The goal was to support IMBA with $10,000 in product through this program, and we greatly exceeded that mark,” said Gary Gleason, WTB's sales director. “Our contribution will make a real difference to trail work and advocacy.”

WTB would like to extend a big “thank-you” to all the dealers that made this event worthwhile. And a big thanks to IMBA for its efforts to build and improve trails for all of us to enjoy. If you’re interested in learning more about the program, or how you can get involved to earn some of the donated WTB components, please visit IMBA.com.
