WTB Introduces Sales for Trails Program

Published September 13, 2009

MILL VALLEY, CA (BRAIN)—Wilderness Trail Bikes is now collaborating with IMBA (International Mountain Biking Association), helping build and sustain trails throughout the United States.

Through this new program, Sales for Trails, WTB will donate 10 percent of the value of all preseason orders placed by dealers to support trail crews, bike shops and local advocacy groups working to preserve and expand trail systems. This 10 percent contribution will be the latest in offerings by WTB, including tires and saddles. The sales program will begin at the Interbike tradeshow and run through the end of October.

“At WTB our livelihood and passion is centered on mountain biking. Trail is our middle name,” said Gary Gleason, WTB's sales director. “With this program we get to give back.”

WTB and IMBA will be hosting a BBQ on Tuesday, September 22 at the Outdoor Demo in Bootleg Canyon to kick off the promotion. Drop by the WTB booth and learn how you can get involved.
