Have Park Tool Summit, Will Travel

Published December 16, 2008

ST PAUL, MN (BRAIN)—As registrations come rolling in for the first Park Tool Tech Summits, it is becoming clear that some mechanics are willing to travel great distances to attend this one of a kind training event.

“We have people coming from as far away as Nova Scotia, Puerto Rico, Alaska and the Czech Republic,” said Bill Armas, director of marketing for Park Tool. “I think dealers can see the unique value of this event.”

Bruce Roberts of The Hub in Nova Scotia said, “It’s an opportunity to see multiple vendors in a hands-on environment. That is not available anywhere else.”

Alberto Morales from Puerto Rico added, “You have to be at the top if you want to be the best. For me it's a great idea and a way to increase my knowledge of today's products.”

Park Tool Tech Summit will be held in Philadelphia on January 12 and 13 and in Ontario, California, on January 26 and 27. The Philadelphia is ¾ full and the Ontario seminar is just under ½ full. The cost of $195 covers all six classes, materials and a continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for two days.
