3point5.com Partners with Skullcandy

Published December 16, 2008

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (BRAIN)—3point5.com recently launched online training for audio component manufacturer Skullcandy, a brand that spans key action sports, snowsports and bike markets for the retail training leader.

“Skullcandy was looking for a way to use the Internet to connect shop employees to our brand,” said Luke Edgar, director of core sales for Skullcandy. “Partnering with 3point5.com—which already has strong connections to companies in the action sports, snowsports and bike industries—was a natural fit.

“Users of 3point5.com are deeply involved in sports that complement our product,” Edgar added. “When we made the decision to build training online they were the natural choice. This partnership ensures a consistent training message delivered in a fast-paced, online format.”

“Skullcandy’s high-technology, youth-oriented brand fits well into the 3point5.com training format,” said 3point5.com chief executive officer Duncan Robins. “It’s a great complement to our growing array of offerings in bike, snowsports and action sports.”
