Sho-Air International to Lead Pro XC Tour

Published December 11, 2008

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (BRAIN)—Sho-Air International, a leading provider of International Trade Show Shipping Solutions, has signed a two-year agreement to be the presenting sponsor of the US Pro XC Tour (ProXCT).

Industry sponsors Specialized, Kenda and Hayes Bicycle Group have also signed on to provide a solid platform for the development of cross-country mountain bike racing in the U.S.

Utilizing the recently announced US Cup Series (http://www.mtb-uscup.com/), the Pro XC Tour (ProXCT) will provide seven opportunities for elite-level XC racers to hone their skills on the way to the London Olympic Games in 2012.

"The US Cup now has it all," said Scott Tedro, president of Sho-Air International. "With an East and West Coast XC Series for amateurs, and this comprehensive Pro series, mountain bike racing will be alive and kicking again. This would not be possible without the drive and commitment that has come from Jim Wannamaker at Kenda, Ben Capron at Specialized, and corporate support from the Hayes Bicycle Group. The industry should keep that it mind when making their purchasing decisions, supporting the companies that support the sport."
