QBP’s Steve Flagg Wins Entrepreneur Award

BLOOMINGTON, MN (BRAIN)—QBP president and chief executive officer Steve Flagg received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 Award in the distribution category for the Upper Midwest regional program.

The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses.

Flaggwas selected by an independent panel of judges and presented with the award at a gala event at the Minneapolis Marriott on June 5.

“This is a great tribute to all the employees of QBP,” said Flagg. “Their unrelenting commitment to excellence and continuous improvement are the lifeblood of this organization. Not only do they deliver outstanding service to our customers, they serve their communities through charitable efforts, environmental initiatives and advocating for improved access to bicycling across America. This award is really theirs. They earned it.”

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year awards celebrates their 22nd anniversary this year. The program honors entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

As an Upper Midwest award winner, Flagg is now eligible for consideration in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 national program. Winners will be announced at the annual awards ceremony in Palm Springs, California, on Nov. 15, 2008.
