UBP Offers Three New Brands

Published June 10, 2008

ASHLAND, OR (BRAIN)—United Bicycle Parts has expanded its product offerings with three new lines—Genius, Orange and Grammo.

“These three new lines are real anchors for UBP and we are thrilled to have each one," said Ron Blocher, UBP owner. “Each represents something unique and different, and all of them have great potential here in the U.S.”

Genius is a high-end road bike company based in New Zealand, whose line includes models made with its own proprietary material designs and techniques. The carbon fiber Squadra and Diablo are built around the Genius G2 monocoque frameset that utilizes C7 Cosmo high-modulus tubing.

Orange is a British mountain bike company so well-known on the World Cup race circuit, that it’s now back in the U.S. Aluminum full-suspension framesets include the 224 Evolution, the Patriot and the Five. The Orange line also features classic cromoly hardtail framesets.

Grammo manufactures premium parts and components with a particular emphasis on its competition wheelsets, which utilize design-specific deep dish carbon fiber rims and precision-sealed hubs. Grammo wheels also come with their own brake pads, valve adaptors and wheel bags.
