Corsair Bikes Has New Distributors

Published April 3, 2008

SEATTLE, WA (BRAIN)—Corsair Bikes had added three new international distributors, bringing the total number of countries with Corsair Bikes distribution to 19.

In Europe, Windwave, located in Gosport Hampshire, England, will serve the vibrant UK market. Windwave, the Colnago distributor for the UK, is best known for its many years of experience in the mountain bike market, as distributors for core MTB brands such as Marzocchi, Mace, FSA and Gravity.

On the other side of the world, JetBlack Products will assume duties as Corsair's Australia distributor. Located in Baulkham Hills, New South Wales, JetBlack distributes such brands as Niterider, Token, Fibrax and Weldtite, as well as the JetBlack line of products.

Finally, in Asia, FreeBike, located in Taipei, Taiwan, will distribute its frames and products in Taiwan. Andrew Sher, FreeBike's founder, is deeply rooted in Taiwan's maturing hardcore and extreme mountain bike movement.

"Andrew is far from the typical Taiwan bicycle industry businessman and that is why I think he is the perfect person to launch the Corsair brand in Taiwan. He is a talented rider and is at the center of the riding scene in Taiwan. He is the exactly the right person to make Corsair a success in this new and quickly growing market," said Doug Stuart, Corsair's president. "We continue to have success building our dealer and international distribution network. I am also pleased that both consumers and dealers are hearing and understanding our technology story and are excited and accepting of our new concepts. The combination of strong product, and great distribution is essential to our success, and we are definitely on the right track."
