Fox Adds General, Chief Patent Counsel

WATSONVILLE, CA (BRAIN)—Fox Racing Shox has hired David Haugen as general counsel and chief patent counsel. Haugen will be located at the Fox headquarters in Watsonville, California.

“We are pleased to have recruited an in-house attorney of David’s caliber. His experience and expertise, particularly in the fields of intellectual property and contract law, will ensure that all Fox inventions are protected at the highest level,” said Bob Fox, Fox Racing Shox’s president.

Prior to joining Fox, Haugen was an attorney with the law firm Patterson & Sheridan. Haugen graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Prior to his tenure at Patterson & Sheridan, Haugen was patent counsel for the multi-national oil field service company Weatherford International.
