Sigma Reaches Sales Milestone

Published February 3, 2008

BATAVIA, IL (BRAIN)—In its 25th anniversary year, Sigma is celebrating another milestone; its cycling computer sales have reached 50 million units.

This record number is particularly attributed to the company’s quality, innovation and service. The 50 millionth unit was sold by Thomas Frey, managing director and co-owner of Swiss firm Fuchs-Movesa AG and one of Sigma’s first customers.

“Our excellent cooperation as partners over many years is based on the high quality of the Sigma products. This is further underlined by its outstanding service and consistent approach to customer care. A company philosophy that exactly mirrors our own,” Frey said.

Brian Orloff, U.S. managing director, added, “This is a major milestone for us at Sigma. It is a true testament to our products, customers and employees. I would like to thank all of our partners for their support over the years and I am looking forward to the products and innovations we launch in the next 25 years.”

The Sigma 25th Anniversary year’s product line features an innovative line of lifestyle lights, cycling lights, wireless and wired cycling computers and heart-rate monitors.
