Hayes Bicycle Group Adds to Marketing Team

MEQUON, WI (BRAIN)—The Hayes Bicycle Group (HBG) recently added two new members to its marketing department, led by marketing manager, Joel Richardson.

Clayton Goldsmith joins HBG as the sponsorship and event coordinator, with responsibilities for support and development of rider and team sponsorships. Goldsmith will also coordinate and supervise HBG technicians and other personnel at media events, races and consumer events in North America.

Denny Yunk is the new marketing supervisor. Yunk’s responsibilities will include development of physical and electronic marketing materials, as well as public relations and customer relationship management.

Goldsmith is an accomplished Category 1 road and track racer with numerous Wisconsin state championship titles to his name. He comes to Hayes having worked as the director of sales and marketing at King Motorsports. His other previous employers include Deloitte Consulting, Harley Davidson and NASA—Johnson Space Center. His bicycle industry background includes ten years of retail sales/service and prior work with Hayes on the early disc brake programs.

Yunk is a Category 1 road racer, and currently holds Wisconsin state titles in the criterium, road race and time trial in the Masters 30+ division. He comes to HBG from the biotech industry, where he most recently worked as a Senior Account Manager for Sigma-Aldrich Corporation.
