BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products has announced plans to open a distribution center in the Reno, Nev., area to serve its Western U.S. dealers.

The company's fourth U.S. facility is set to begin operations on Dec. 10 of this year.

GIVISIEZ, Switzerland (BRAIN) — Scott Sports S.A., has agreed to acquire the Dolomite footwear brand from Italy's Tecnica Group S.p.A, for an undisclosed amount.

Scott, based in Switzerland, announced Thursday that it had signed a preliminary agreement for the takeover of Tecnica's Dolomite division.
