Goggles & Dust celebrates cycling's glory days with a selection of vintage photos

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — Goggles & Dust: Images from Cycling's Glory Days is a new book containing newly restored photographs from 1920s and 1930s bike racing. 

Riders featured include Ottavio Bottecchia, Eugène Christophe, Henri Pélissier, André Leducq and René Vietto. The photos are curated from the original silver gelatin prints in The Horton Collection; most of them have been unseen since their original publication in the newspapers and magazines of the day. The Horton Collection includes 15,000 objects and 170,000 original vintage cycling photographs. More information on the collection at www.hortoncollection.com.
