Bike Fixtation releases wall-mounted Public Toolbox

Published September 26, 2014

MINNEAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Bike Fixtation is now selling a wall-mounted tool station for public use in bike storage rooms or repair stations. The Public Toolbox includes eight tools secured to the wall with 54-inch braided stainless steel cables. An optional strike plate protects walls from tool strikes.

Tools include: two steel-core tire levers, Hex key set, 8mm/10mm and 9mm/11mm cone wrenches, 15mm/32mm combo wrench, Phillips and flat head screwdrivers and a T25 Torx wrench. Tools that require rotation for use (i.e. screwdrivers and Hex keys) use a swivel on the cable for ease of use.

The Public Toolbox face-plate has a QR code that links to a website with basic repair tips. The faceplate can also be customized with a shop's branding.

The Public Toolbox is completely designed, manufactured and assembled in Minnesota. It retails for $445 and is available in a variety of powder coated finishes. Warranty information, installation instructions and data sheets are available on the Public Toolbox product page.
