New Chrome bags use durable military material

Published November 1, 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (BRAIN) — Chrome Industries’ new super-durable BLCKCHRM bags feature exteriors made of hypalon, a material originally used to make U.S. Coast Guard rescue rafts. Liners use a tightly woven nylon, while the trim is full grain leather and hardware is coated with rubber.

The result is a bag designed to withstand the harsh elements of city riding and still look stylish in the boardroom. Made in America, BLCKCHRM bags are guaranteed for life.

Prices range from $200 for the 26-liter-capacity Citizen BLCKCHRM messenger bag, with seatbelt buckle, to $280 for the 64-liter Sotnik BLCKCHRM gear duffle. The 40-liter Bravo BLCKCHRM rolltop backpack retails for $220.
