Saris makes Bones rack in black

Published March 12, 2013

MADISON, WI (BRAIN) — Saris is now shipping its best-selling Bones rack in a new color – black. The arms and legs of the Black Bones are enhanced by the addition of a black anodized center adjustment spline for a “blackout” look.

In addition to the new color, Saris has made some updates to the Black Bones arms, with improved bike cradles and anti-sway hold downs.

The company said the updated cradles are low-profile and make loading and unloading of bicycles much easier while also accommodating a greater variety of frame shapes and sizes. The new rotating, anti-sway better aligns the co-molded ratchet strap with the seat tube of the bike, ensuring that bikes remain separated and damage-free.

Black Bones comes in both two-bike and three-bike versions with MSRP’s of $149.99 and $169.99, respectively.

All Saris racks are made in Madison, Wisconsin.
