WFSGI plans annual bike committee meeting in Taipei

BERN, Switzerland (BRAIN) — The World Federation of Sporting Goods Industry's bicycle committee will hold its yearly public meeting at the Taipei Cycle Show in Taiwan next week. 

The WFSGI will discuss its collaboration with the UCI. The committee has been in discussion with the international cycling union about wheel testing standards, use of disc brakes in competition and other topics.

Additionally, Michele Provera from the Italian company Convey will present further results of the "WFSGI Online Brand Abuse Project." The WFSGI started this project with Convey to actively oppose and stop online counterfeits of sporting goods products, including bicycle products.

The meeting will be held next Friday morning, March 20, at 10 a.m. in Room No. 404, fourth floor at the Taipei Cycle Show.
