Reynolds Cycling sees growth in Asian market, appoints Leggara as sales and marketing agent

Published December 1, 2014

SANDY, Utah – (BRAIN) — Reynolds Cycling has appointed Leggera Technologies International, an Asian-based bicycle consulting company, to assume sales and marketing duties for Reynolds Cycling's aftermarket products throughout Asia. LTI has offices in Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

LTI will take over from Taiwan-based DWL, led by Mike Wang, who previously serviced both aftermarket and OE customers. Wang will continue to support Reynolds local OE and assembly clients and work closely with LTI during the transition period, the company said.

Reynolds' rapid growth in the Asian market — more than 125 percent in 2014 —  made it necessary to split off aftermarket responsibilities, the company said.

Paul Farrell, the founder and CEO of LTI,  said, "The LTI group has over 15 years' experience working with top cycling brands in Asia. We are excited to work closely with Reynolds and their exclusive country distributors in aiming to build upon the Reynolds brand image and leadership in carbon fiber wheel technology, and we are eager to provide even higher levels of aftermarket customer support across the Asian region."
