JetBlack promotes Ely to international sales director

Published March 3, 2014

SAN DIEGO (BRAIN) – Australian parts and accessories maker JetBlack Cycling has promoted its U.S. brand director, Mike Ely, to international sales director. Ely joined JetBlack last spring — to lead an expansion of the brand’s U.S. business — after working 15 years as a sales and marketing executive with NiteRider.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled with the way so many dealers have supported JetBlack just in the short time I’ve come on board. The best part is we have so much more in store for 2014 and beyond,” said Ely.  “When I was asked if I was interested in taking on the international role, I jumped at the opportunity to assist the company to grow worldwide.”

JetBlack is distributed in the U.S. through Quality Bicycle Products and Hawley.  “We are honored to have JetBlack Cycling distributed through Hawley and QBP. They represent two of the very best distributors our industry has to offer,” said Trent Fitzgibbins, JetBlack founder and managing director.  “The appointment of Mike Ely into an international role, with his wealth of experience, will only result in the continuation of JetBlack Cycling’s upward trajectory.”
