Published December 24, 2013

DUARTE, CA (BRAIN) — Dahon bikes are now being distributed in Poland by Arkus & Romet, which has a network of more than 700 dealers throughout the country.

The comapny traces its roots to 1948, when it was established as an auto and motorcycle manufacturer. Today it also is active in the electric mobility market. The Romet Company assumed the Arkus brand in 1999 and founded the Arkus & Romet Group in 2005.

The new agreement is effective immediately and Dahon folding bicycles will be available at selected shops within the Arkus & Romet network at the start of the 2014 bicycle season.

"We are excited about the multitude of new opportunities our partnership with Poland's foremost bicycle professional brings to our international distribution network," said Dr. David Hon, CEO, founder and inventor of Dahon folding bicycles. "Arkus & Romet has pursued an exceptional and enterprising career since its founding 60 years ago. The reward for Dahon is a vital network of flourishing distributorships, dedicated to the highest standards of service and the concept of green mobility. We are fortunate and pleased to contribute to the thriving folding bicycle market 'unfolding' in Poland today."
