Ohio Women's Bicycling Summit

The Ohio Women's Cycling Summit is an initiative to engage, empower, and activate more women to ride bikes. All across the state the story is similar: women are riding bikes at a fraction of the rate that men are.

We have set out to increase ridership among women by proving that bicycling is sexy, by dispelling myths and removing the barriers that keep women off bikes, by showing that bicycling is and will continue to become a viable form of transportation, by educating women that bicycling is economically smart, and by demonstrating that bicycling fosters community engagement by creating livable, vibrant, conscious, and connected local communities.
